Scripture:
"He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young." — Isaiah 40:11
Today, as I reflect on my journey as a mommy, I realize how easy it is to focus on everything left undone instead of everything God has already allowed me to accomplish.
Some days are filled with laughter, milestones, and sweet moments. Other days are messy, exhausting, and leave me wondering if I'm getting it right. But through every season, God gently reminds me that He didn't choose a perfect mother for my children...He chose me.
That means even on the days I feel stretched, overwhelmed, or unsure, His grace is enough. Every prayer whispered over my children, every lesson taught, every hug given, and every sacrifice made matters more than I can see right now.
If you're reading this as a fellow mom, I hope you know you're doing better than you think. Give yourself the same grace God gives you. Your children don't need perfection...they need your love, your presence, and your faith.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting us with one of life's greatest blessings. Strengthen every mother who may feel weary today. Fill her with peace when she doubts herself, wisdom as she leads her children, and the assurance that You are guiding every step of her journey. Amen.
Reflection:
Motherhood isn't about getting everything right. It's about faithfully loving the little hearts God placed in your care, one day at a time.
Until next time… keep walking in faith, purpose, and identity...and remember YOU were Made for THIS...
